The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital
There is a 22 bedded Paediatric Ward. The Hospital has a Supra Regional and also international intake. The majority of admissions are planned and are for a variety of serious orthopaedic conditions. The length of stay varies but many patients are either re-admitted or stay for a considerable number of weeks. Children are mostly taught at the bedside on an individual basis.
We provide education for any school age child of any ability attending our hospitals. We can help to conjugate verbs whilst demonstrating neutralisation in one hand and sensory activities with the other ; proving we are the educational jack of all trades and master of most !!!
