Parkway (KS4)

Welcome to Parkway!

We cater for up to 106 young people in Years 10 and 11 who haven't been able to access their mainstream schools for reasons relating to their Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Bespoke learning pathways allow tailoring to individual pupils abilities, interests and needs, offering pupils opportunity to re-engage with education through the National GCSE core subjects in conjunction with a range of other qualifications e.g. BTEC, Applied learning and college courses.

Pupils are supported to catch-up and make progress based on assessments from their home schools and robust baseline diagnostics thus aiming to reduce the impact of their medical conditions on their educational outcomes.

KS4 Centre provision seeks to build pupil resilience so that they are able to transition back to mainstream or onto appropriate post-16 provision following successful completion and attainment of qualifications or skills.

Pupils are given the opportunity to participate in a range of life skills, a resilience program and some will benefit from 1:1 or group mentoring programmes.

Our Centre Management Team consists of:
