Our pupils follow a broad and balanced curriculum that can be tailored to meet the needs of individuals.

At KS3, pupils follow a timetable that enables them to study the same subjects as their peers at their home school. As such, pupils are timetabled lessons for English, Maths, Science, Humanities (to include History, Geography and Religious Education), Languages (French, Spanish or German), Art, Music and PSHE. In addition to this, pupils are allocated ‘catch up’ sessions where they are able to complete work for any subjects that are not timetabled.

At KS4, all pupils are timetabled the ‘core’ subjects (English, Maths and Science). In addition to this, pupils meet with their ‘Key Teacher’ in order to create a bespoke timetable that addresses their individual needs and covers their chosen GCSE option subjects.

At KS5, timetables and teaching slots are allocated to meet the needs of the individual. As with KS4, pupils meet with their ‘Key Teacher’ in order to create a highly personalised timetable that can be reviewed and adapted over the course of their admission.

As a group of teachers, we are able to offer specialist teaching for most subjects. Where this is not possible, we work closely with specialist teachers based at the pupil’s home school in order to source work and request feedback on progress.
